Selwo Marina

This is a great animal and leisure park. The park is home to dolphins, sea lions, exotic birds and penguins across five different zones. You can also attend various activities and presentations to learn more about the park’s habitats and species and book animal interaction experiences. Perfect day trip for the whole family. Some of the animals that you can see here include penguins, sea lions, dolphins and other water creatures. It is an interactive experience so you can even go swimming with some of the animals. Not too far away you will find Sea Life Benalmádena which has touch tanks and educational exhibits. Ice Skating in Costa del Sol?

The Club de Hielo (Ice Club) in Benalmadena is the first permanent covered ice skating rink in Andalucia. The 900 square meter rink is located in a sport complex that also houses an 8-lane swimming pool, a kiddie pool, gym, medical services, cafeteria and parking.

Cable car to the top

These cable cars will take you in an amazing 15-minute journey in a four-person cable car right up to the highest point on the Málaga coast at an altitude of almost 800m above sea level. Mariposario de Benalmádena is a few minutes drive from Benalmadena’s old town. BenalmadenaGreat fun for all the family.  Escape rooms in steroids! 20 rooms with different types of puzzles to solve, mental and physical.  It's best to be in 2 teams of 3/4 people. It can get busy and very loud but it's great fun.  They also have laser tag facilities with special state-of-the-art laser vests and pistols. The setting is a labyrinthine, presenting a series of obstacles to be able to take refuge, take shelter, and that allows you to think of strategies to face the rival team. Prison Island and Laser Island can be found upstairs in the little Shopping Precinct in Benalmadena Port.  It is best to book in advance as this does get busy.

Visit Colomares Castle

Tucked away from the main tourist areas in Benalmadena, you’ll find Colomares Castle, Castillo, a very unique monument in Benalmadena.
